I have owned my 1997 Porsche 911 cabriolet (993) for 20 years. Though I only drive it 4,000 miles a year, it has been one of the most dependable vehicles I have had, including a number of Audis, BMWs, and an Infiniti. Other than replacing tires and the battery, and oil changes, the only significant repair has been replacing the canvas roof. It is still fun to drive, handles beautifully, and has classic looks. As the last model of air-cooled 911s, it is appreciating in value each year.…
